Many of the island colonies that were under the administration of the empire, knew about Greek culture but had no real loyalty towards it. Unity was a major issue and rival forces such as the Macedonians, and the early Romans took advantage of this.pic.twitter.com/uzsYPEizLW

Why did it collapse? Same reasons as Eqypt and Greece - military conflict from determined rivals, exhausted the resources. The empire was too big and out of control to govern properly.

This never happened overnight, it was a gradual decline. People also became too spoiled and soft, wanted to chill out and live the good life. You could argue this happening again as we speak! Comfort = Corruption = failure = breakdown of society.

So we can now see clearly, all empires collapse once they hit a certain point. And this will happen again with the current empires that currently rule the world. This is why I dont worry too much about the future of the world. It will always keep turning.
