One of the greatest mental health-boosting techniques is - remove all sources of "news" mainstream and independent. Your overall mood just improves. They are designed to keep you in a state of angst and depression. Remove completely or limit consumption of them.

I find it best to just remove it totally. For me even the limited consumption messes me up.
