I read a theory once the Falkland war was started because that’s when Hitler really died,and the special forces who were watching him in Argentina were based in the Falklands,and the UK government would not withdraw them. Who knows? Either way. It was a strange conflict.

Yeah apparently several high ranking SS officers and Hitler managed to escape Europe, and were hiding in South America until the early 80s
