So the UK gov is banning crypto leverage trading. Good. Like all gambling, it’s probably going be a net loss for the vast majority of people who do it. Not a bad decision tbh.

I doubt that would happen. The shorts pay the longs and vice versa. The house always wins mate.
Also. If the gov wanted to protect exchange, banning millions from using the exchanges would be a very strange approach as they will no doubt lose a lot of money now.
