I think they also know the next bull market is on its way, and that a large amount of leveraged longs could bankrupt the exchanges, offering protection for them? Just a theory.

I doubt that would happen. The shorts pay the longs and vice versa. The house always wins mate.

I agree and I made money from it. Net profit, not loss. But it’s very dangerous and all things considered this year. It ain’t the worst decision the gov have made. Probably a net plus for most people.

People shouldn't be banned from making bad decisions. With the nature of crypto and VPNs being a thing, it's not like this stops them. Instead it only prevents them from reaching out or discussing it for fear of being arrested.

All things considered. It’s not a bad decision. People are banned from meeting up with a certain number of other humans in the UK. We crossed the point of no return in March mate.
