I get the impression Lawrence lived abroad for a while before going to latAM, he is used to not being based in the UK. It's easier for an experienced travelling man to set himself up, than some middle-aged geezer who has never lived abroad.

The idea of packing up and moving to a new country is a foreign concept (no pun intended) to somebody who has always lived in the UK and is used to the way of life etc, even if they get shafted with a much higher tax rate.

Yep totally right brother The thing is that you can do a giant paradigm shift even in your late 30s. I am living proof of that My life was so different back then that it seems alien to me Still, most will never do it because it takes insane amounts of commitment and energy
