I usually agree with you but... Poor kids go to Iraq and Afghanistan Wealthy kids go to Harvard and Yale The wealthy train their sons in rifle and survival skills through camping, fishing and hunting No child of mine would ever join the military Strong fathers not governmenthttps://twitter.com/HKBelvedere/status/1292769366245871616 …

It's not to be on the front lines. It's to experience being responsible and being able to operate as an adult in a ruthless environment. I meant the initial basic training not actually going to pointless wars. Plenty of rich officers die In battle also.

There was a time of misguided patriotism where it was considered noble for rich men to serve. Those days are long gone as they, too, realize its pointlessness. If there's basic training that guarantees no deployment for all these kids, then yes Not sure if there's such a thing

There is boot camps in the USA but not so much in the UK or Europe. I felt I benefitted hugely from joining in the army at 17. I would have been fucked without that sort of training as a youth. It would help so many men. Especially from single mother households.

Believe me, I get your underlying premise. As far as I am aware, bootcamp requires youths to be delinquent. It's typically after the commission of juvenile crimes where they qualify for bootcamp without enlistment in the military.

Yeah it's not really mainstream for everday boys (and girls) who would also benefit in my view. It certainly beats being a tubby loser addicted to smart fones and always depressed. Good lord the west is so doomed.

I saw a video yesterday of a white kid up in his father's face calling him a "pu$$y" and daring him to touch him. His father kept begging him to get out his way. It was the most shocking thing for me. Weak fathers are equally as detrimental as absent ones.

100 percent agree. Weak men ruin companies, they ruin families and they ruin society as a whole. Without strong men its pretty much anarchy.
