The covid-19 pandemic has shown this playing out. People came from great distrust to great trust in the government's intentions for them. It's really something.
Think back to previous times. "Do you trust the government?" "lol, no their all liars" But everybody will conform above all else. Nobody likes to feel left out. They know it's nonsence But their geninuely scared to admit it. Group think is so powerful & dangerous.

People are literally begging for leadership. They are like jellyfish, humbling around, shell shocked. Its actually scary to witness. It's like a bad twilight zone episode that never seems to end.
