Imo it was an inside job aimed at creating FUD, relating it to crypto in attempt to shake the market. Twitter ceo is a crypto investor and has direct interest in market movements. There were just trying to buy cheaper and failed.
I doubt a billionaire would comprise his company to try and pick up some cheap btc Bro. I can see your point of view. But a multi billonaire would not do that to try and pick up some cheap btc or crypto.
No real negative consequences for Twitter will emerge from this
The bad press is enough. Dorsey and these other billionaire don't need to play games to try and shake the crypto market. That makes no sence.
It makes lots of sense. Stunts like these “are” the “bad press. He is the one person sure to be able to pull this off + has vested interest in the market. The risk of real cost is very small, and everyone is still using his platform regardless.
