Yes but he's not the founder, and never heard of him referred to as a scammer, I understand why XRP gets some hate but I reckon I'll leave some speculative $ in it!
I just look at the evidence and the actual price. If it has all these big partnerships etc, why is the price under 1 USD per coin still after all these years?

No idea, a lot of things dont make sense in the crypto market, price suppression is one theory but who knows, in 2017 it was last to pump but it pumped hardest , time will tell I guess

It is a pretty immature market. But the fact XRP has outperformed BTC over the past 4 years does indicate it is seen by many as having value.
