What shocked me the most over the past few months was.
How quickly people gave up everything they claimed to hold so dearly.
The weekends at the pub, going to the football, gigs, concerts, weddings, parties etc.
Did they really enjoy all that?
Or was it all a big lie?

Social media and media companies filled the void for people’s competitive and social needs. Picking sides of the covid debate or the BLM narrative kept them angry and confused. Finally a degree of shaming for breaking covid rules and people justified their fears of leaving home
