I thought or heard, that its all over by the age of 4. But if this happens till the age of 21, then there is plenty of time to eve to unlearn and relearn.
The first stage is the most crucial. It's hard to reverse this initial programming. If the kids suffers trauma at this point. The adult will probably have issues sadly. Those early days are KEY.
