"Jack of all trades, master of none." There's some things beneficial about being a generalist Renaissance man... but mastery and depth ain't it.
Consistency is key. Pick a niche and stick with it. Too many guys want to be Swiss army knifes, trying to do everything. If you have too many passions you will have a mediocre overall outcome. Specialise in a field and stick with it long term. This will pay dividends.

I was just about to tweet about this. Too many, myself included, try to do too much all at once. Especially starting out. Immersing yourself in one thing & creating success is easier when your focus is concentrated on that one thing. Branch out after you’ve mastered the topic
