You don't earn respect, this is another lie. Respect is taken. Nobody respects somebody trying to earn it. You must force them to. Even if it's through base level fear. Start getting aggressive and putting people in fear. Watch the respect levels RISE. You cannot deny this.

Never thought about it in this way before. Maybe this is why people respect others who are in positions of power. And Power does put fear into people.

The line between fear and respect is probably slim. The robber that puts a gun to your head... Definitely fear, but respect? The boss that throws a tantrum... Yes fear but no respect. The teacher that scares students... Fear but no respect. I feel respect demands something more
