The pressure they then proceeded to put throughout the Eastern front all the way up to Berlin was instrumental in weakening the Reich and allowed for much smaller, yet much more glorified victories like D-day. The West would be speaking German in any other scenario

I always appreciated the help from the Soviets. But the RAF and the gallantry of the British kept the reich at bay before anybody else jumped in. Yes, dunkirk was a failure, but we never Surrendered.
