It has become politically incorrect to shame someone for a flaw. Even though shaming works bc humans are social animals. We try to fit in with our environment.

It does work. I was shamed once by a an old friend several years ago now he said "look mate, your sitting drinking all the time, your getting a gut, your bird is horrible, sort it out you r better" it hurt. 6 months later. I was in shape, happy, size 6 blondie paying homage.

I agree. A woman once told me I was dressed like a slob. I immediately started reading about men´s style and one week later I was already getting compliments for my upgraded style. Shaming has worked for me.
