It has become politically incorrect to shame someone for a flaw. Even though shaming works bc humans are social animals. We try to fit in with our environment.
Everybody at some point needs to have this internal dialogue. Tough love is the best love. If you have a family member or friend who will straight up shame you for being fat, broke, or a general loser. It does work. I was shamed once by a an old friend several years ago now he said "look mate, your sitting drinking all the time, your getting a gut, your bird is horrible, sort it out you r better" it hurt. 6 months later. I was in shape, happy, size 6 blondie paying homage.
