It's the lyrics that programme people more. Not such when heard, more so when repeated by the listener. But yeah, the mind numbing beats play their part.

Reading back it's not so clear. The lyrics program, but the beat is what gets it to stick in your head as a form of hypnosis. Also believe electronic music can put you into states which allow entities to access you, but that's a tad more esoteric.
