Why not simply ignore it?
When dealing with the narssisstic ones, always remember this - They are OBSESSED with how they are PERCEIVED by others. Call them out/cut them off. I promise you 9 times out of 10. They will launch a smear campaign against you to try and convince people you're the bad one.

Yes they are extremely obsessed about what others see them as. This is why they constantly lie and make up grandiose stories about stuff that never happened. It's to look good to others.
