    Good point. So you agree that Rosenbaum should be charged?

    Even if one thinks the law demanded that the jury find Rittenhouse not guilty it’s less an exoneration of him and more a condemnation of the laws that allow citizens to travel to areas of civil unrest and open carry weapons and kill people without any consequence whatsoever.

    I think it’s as much of not more of a problem for liberalism. Born in revolution, fed on the blood of civil wars, and now in its twilight, kept warm by fires of constant riots, liberalism is no recipe for stability.

    Jokes aside, it's a well-known problem for illiberalism: how to maintain stability *justly*. Even if we assume OUTLANDISHLY that integralists could win by legitimate process, how do they maintain power? We're owed an honest answer to 'the problem of Kpop.'

    Do these people not realize that this in fact is a textbook self defense case? If a cop points his gun at someone and that person reaches for the cops gun, the cop would be justified 10 out of 10 times to shoot.

    So says the murderer. The victim is unavailable for comment. There is however video of Rittenhouse saying he wants to shoot people.

    People believe they are "saving lives" by buying a product that is being marketed to them. The irony of course, is that the party that claims to hate capitalism, has turned consumption into a sacred rite and moral duty.

    At a very basic level, the vaccine is a product for consumption. By making "being vaccinated" a test of morality, it is turning consumption into a moral act. The already deadened conscience of modern man is sedated by therapeutic consumption.

    Feelings are nice and all, but could we have a bit more than feelings when discussing serious institutional changes to the Catholic Church?

    I know all the counter-arguments, but still it's become very difficult for me to see mandatory clerical celibacy as unproblematic and unconnected to the abuse crisis. Just have to be honest.

    Yes, Khalilah. Street racing is a sub-culture event. It is one of the things that happen when uneducated thugs get money from violence and drug dealing in city blocks that look worse than ruins left by carpet bombings. It is truly below anything that could be called culture.

    Guessing this was a planned subculture event in light of all the similar supped up cars lined up. Police stepping in probably a bad idea. Yes it should be in a lot. Yes it is unsafe. They’re doing things generations before them have done when it comes to street racing culture

    The modern church is dead. It has no message apart from killing the past and embracing a yet undefined future. The Pope is preaching to phantoms of the 70’s.

    If this is the case then why are workers mostly Republican and management mostly Democrat?

    Though I'm a Democrat, I genuinely respect conservatives and I find many of their arguments compelling. That said, they have not coherently decided to move from finance-friendly to worker-friendly, and they use culture wars to obscure that.

    Stop making fascism sound so cool. Star Wars was meant to be anti-fascist, only accidentally does it justify the Empire. HP is anti-fascist. Everything else you listed are symptoms of modernity, both leftwing and rightwing.

    Star Wars is fascist, Harry Potter is fascist neo-feudal dreck, selfie-obsession is fascist, British soap-operas are fascist, sci-fi is generally fascist, ironic detachment is fascist, porn is fascist. Masscult under imperialism is inherently fascistic. Sorry to spoil your 'fun'.
