.@PattyMurray: The #LowerHealthCareCosts Act is a promising step that will help families and patients across the country. But I want to stress that while this bill is valuable—it is absolutely not enough.
This is pure protection for insurance co's. It fully removes incentives for insurance to negotiate in good faith. It effectively makes the current floor, the new ceiling, a rate has NOT kept up with the medicare economic index and degrades America's safety net of emergency care
