@PattyMurray: The result [of the Patient Centered Medical Home model] is care that helps bring down costs not just by giving patients better, efficient care when they are ill, but also by doing more to keep them healthy.

@PattyMurray: While primary care providers can play a critical role in coordinating care and reducing costs, they can only play that role when people have access to care. In fact, lack of access can actually drive costs higher.

Yep. Health Savings Accounts should be one of the sensible solutions on the table. Empower us to care for ourselves! I don’t want to depend on unreliable politicians who only care about power. #DemocratPowerGrab

For once we agree. But the fatal flaw that drove prices up was the requirement that every citizen had to have health insurance, but not every medical facility had to accept it. Obamacare failed because it didn't create competition. It created a monopoly.

If they forced every medical facility to accept it just like they forces everybody to have it that would have helped keep prices down. But when only a few limited places accepted it, they could just charge whatever they wanted.

You've negated everything you say about "healthcare" by voting no to save babies. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TALK ABOUT HEALTHCARE!
