    One could make a reasonable assumption that if a person was upset by the Lynch-Clinton tarmac meeting in 2016, that same person would at least want to know more about these "personal conversations" Rosenstein says he's been having with the president.

    WSJ reports Rosenstein has submitted his resignation letter, which apparently includes this line: "I am grateful to you for the opportunity to serve; for the courtesy and humor you often display in our personal conversations." Personal conversations?

    Barr won't be able to keep the full Mueller report from the House, which has a constitutional duty to consider evidence of criminal wrongdoing by the President. It appears that Barr does not want to explain his decision under oath. His words could be used against the DOJ.

    Dems need to go faster. Trump's lifetime strategy has been running out the clock. He does this to dodge accountability, overwhelming law enforcement and attempting to exhaust opponents. Meanwhile the atrocities continue. Act now: this is a crisis, not a little legal dispute.

    New: Rep tells me House Dems must be prepared to launch impeachment inquiry in direct response to Trump's total resistance to oversight. Lieu also says House should quickly hold William Barr in contempt if he keeps stonewalling. My piece:

    Since when do witnesses get to dictate who questions them & how? I’m sure Sec’y of State Hillary Clinton would have loved this deal ahead of her 11 hours of testimony on Benghazi.
