    Two years ago, I obtained 1,224 complaints of sexual abuse in immigration detention. Now thousands more complaints like those will be destroyed, many without ever having been investigated, wiping out a record that is a damning indictment of our immigration detention system.

    Wow, the national archive system is letting ICE destroy records including complaints about civil rights violations and shoddy medical care in detention centers.
