  4. We will be participating during official "Trick-or-Treat" times scheduled for Oct. 31. Bring your trick-or-treaters by the Sheriff's Office in Bonifay or the Substation in Ponce de Leon during these times for a sweet treat: BONIFAY - 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. PDL - 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  6. After careful consideration, we’ve cancelled 2020’s Veterans Dinner. While it’s our desire to honor veterans, we’re cognizant many fall in Covid’s high risk category. Out of caution, concern, & respect, the ‘20 dinner is canceled & will resume in ‘21. Thank you for your service.

  9. Thanks to a 100% sponsorship from Matrix Community Outreach Center in DeFuniak Springs, HCSO was able to distribute 152 cases of bottled water to our schools. Thanks also to Barbie Donaldson & Autumn Hanks, who are distributors for The Matrix and made this happen!

  14. Per the Holmes Co. Road Dept. ALL COUNTY ROADS ARE CLOSED, except to essential workers. If you must travel to work or provide another essential service, please use extreme caution. The Road Department is assessing roads now, preparing for an expected additional 10” of rainfall
