#HoCoPolice have charged four suspects in three carjackings and two attempts in October 2022. In each case, two male suspects, sometimes armed with weapons, approached drivers in their vehicles and stole them or attempted to steal them. No one was injured.

On Jan. 3, police arrested a 16-year-old and 15-year-old in the theft of a Kia in Savage. Investigators have recovered numerous other stolen Kias and Hyundais in the county in recent weeks, and believe they are being used to commit other crimes or for joyriding. (2/3)
