Was really hoping you fixed this runtime thing from HBO Nordic. All of the shows and movies are shorter than they're supposed to be. Was the thing i was hoping you'd most fix from Nordic. Other services like Netflix and Disney+ don't do this, so why do you?

This happens because of the difference in framerate between the US and the EU. All the content is exactly the same length, it just plays a tiny bit faster

Well that's unfortunate because it just feels off to me, sometimes making the speech of people, their line deliveries and some music sound strange because it's sped up. I don't really understand why it needs to be done when other streaming services work just fine without it.

Great answer HBO, but still, why do Disney and Netflix manage to fix it and you can't? :)

Friendly reminder :)
These differences in frame rate are redundant since all TVs sold in Europe can display 24 fps. Today, 25 fps is only used for broadcast in Europe.

Does this make sense in a streaming world? Your movies are running fine in 24fps(23.976), so why not the series? When you are part of making some of the best series in the world, wouldn't it be best to present them in the original intended format? #HBOMAXEUROPE

There are no framerate differences on streaming. Disney+, Netflix, Apple TV+ and others show content in 24fps everywhere. This is not broadcast tv, and HBO Max in USA is in 24fps even though the broadcast standard there is 60Hz/30fps. Your answer doesn’t make any sense.

It doesn't have to happen. Just get the proper materials. All the other international streaming services are able to.

I was expecting this to be fixed with the introduction of .. You have lots of great content, but you have the worst video quality of all streaming services I know of. Why?
