To be fair, this sounds like combining two loosely related issues. No one realistically plays in tournaments for rank ranges they're too good for solely because they don't enjoy farming. Denying a degree of conscious effort to not rank up is just adding fuel to the drama fire

100% agree with this. I find it extremely retarded for people to not even see that people are keeping their rank at a certain level to play in tournaments and just stomp, it's unfair for other users that are in the tournament and also is actually ranked where they should be.
