man i've been associated with osu for a good portion of the 2010s and all things considered the game is pretty clean (it obviously gets a bad rep for all the loli shit ofc tho). Past ~week a lot of people are speaking up about abuse and devs are handling it horribly

which makes complete sense, but i think he neglects to realize a lot of people follow him that aren't in osu- and subsequently aren't following events exclusive to the community. this means every tweet could read as stand alone

a tweet/poll like that screams to the unaware OSU IS FOR PEDOPHILES, there are many better ways to address this "lolita culture" as you put it without doing poor damage control

lolita culture is not loli culture lolita culture refers to the fashion trend and the culture surrounding it, and it's not explicitly connected to lolis or lolicons if you fuck this up imo you clearly have no idea what you are talking about and should stop its not the same
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

That "loli shit" is not really the cause. The real cause, sadly, is that this game appeals to all ages, which means absolutely anyone can play it. Because of that, a problem may arise. All we can really do is enforce that this behavior is not acceptable and crack down on abuse.

Look at Minecraft, League, and Smash, all of which also have the same massive issue. When you have a community with adults and children constantly interacting, it just increases the chances of something coming up.
