this is actually so fucking dumb man I have to buy a 100$ "active" adapter cuz my monitor doesn't have displayport and a standard cable won't allow it to go over 60hz
Had the exact same thing happen when I bought my 2070 Super and realized my BenQ XL2411 doesn’t have a DP lol. I’ll send you the adapter I ended up getting. If you’re planning on getting a 1440p monitor any time soon it might not be worth it tho’
