I woke up at 5am today. With the extra morning hours, I saw my dad off to work, made breakfast for my mom, organized, exercised, and meditated. I feel amazing.

I actually only realized this wasn't commonplace after studying the topic in AP World History. It's refereed as Filial piety and is pretty common in Chinese families due to Confucius.
