it was weird being hung up on when it first happened, I took it personally 
I wrote some encouraging words on sticky notes and placed them around my desk so I could glance at them when things got rough. one of them says “don’t take it personally!” and “don’t let Trump win”
and the good thing is—you can take breaks. you have full control over how many calls you take and when. so if you need to take a breather and get some water, you can! I took a few breaks just for deep breaths.
