    Paper published! Here we measured brain activity in adults while they listened to a story or watched a silent video of a woman speaking. The participants’ auditory cortices synchronized with sound waves produced by the woman in the video, even if they could not hear it. 1/2

    3 days left to apply to these PhD positions. These are fully funded 4-year positions in Salzburg, incl. social & health insurance, access to all infrastructure (MEG, fMRI, etc), funding for conferences & a 6-month stay abroad! I know first-hand that this a great deal ;)
