  13. While talking about happiness, we cannot ignore sadness. Happiness matters because there is sadness, otherwise, we never needed to spotlight joy. It's like, on a pitch dark night, reassuring a toddler, “Look at the Moon and shining stars!” Smiles return to the face.

  15. We make efforts for food & shelter. Joy & positivity also require effort. During trying times, you can either choose to continue travelling a rabbit hole of thoughts or get up to go outside for a walk or run or do something to be in fresh air. Effort will bring positivity & joy.

  17. Popular modern thinking about joy is centred on fun or entertainment. I believe that joy is healing. It is the process of calming those nervous heartbeats. It is the process that eliminates animosity and fosters humanness. It makes us birds to let us see the world beyond borders.

  19. The same candlelight which is may not be fully visible under the sun becomes so powerful at night. This candle can light up the whole room. Similarly, joy and positivity may not be fully recognizable during the merriest times. But during trying times, they mean everything.
