This is our first registered report! Huge thanks to Omri for exploring this route and successfully pushing through all the hurdles! It was definitely an interesting learning experience! I can only recommend trying it out if you're skeptical and/or haven't ever considered his!!
As a side note: this is new for everyone, including journal editors. It was nice to be able to openly discuss and argue with the editor, in particular wrt acceptable vs not stage 2 submission revision requests from reviewers! Bottom line: I like the process!
