In Switzerland, a father decided that he's ready to die in a hunger strike, if this has a chance of steering his children's world ever so slightly away from a climate apocalypse.

If I consider the worst possible outcome, imho then he wasn‘t a responsible dad, neither for his kid(s) , nor for the goals of his action.

I understand the pain of being ashamed of one's own ancestors who did the worst atrocities What comes is worst. In 20 years, the question will be: complicit or resistant? I considered it with my children They are proud, I fought against evil. They'll be resistants too: my legacy

I taught my child that if there is a problem, you have to face it and try to solve it. Your approach sounds pathetic, but in my opinion, it is not. You are trying to sacrifice yourself with the absolution of your kids?

I taught my children, that when evil comes, you fight it. You don't let it happen from your armchair. Many dads died fighting evil, they still do today. It's a white privilege to believe you can struggle without risks of dying.
