To clarify, we have people within our organization who like it, and those who don’t (ie @CadeMarshFL, @DaniSButcher, and others).
The latest "conservative" group pushing a carbon tax is @ACC_National.
Reminder: raising taxes isn't free market or conservative.

But a carbon tax is not an add on. It’s Pigovian and offsets the damage done. Would you rather raise taxes to pay for all this storm damage?

Right! Market failures need to be addressed. Pigovian taxes allow markets to function w/o forcing costs on public.
