Einstein rebutted your reasoning when he responded to the 1000 socialists who denounced his theories

Hate to break it to you Grove but Einstein was a socialist:https://monthlyreview.org/2009/05/01/why-socialism/ …
-
Thank you for sharing You would think his experience with national socialists would have taught him about the realities of state control of the means of production and how that leads to total control.
-
Grover, internally: "maybe I'm wrong about nazis and taxes... no." Grover, loudly: "Einstein was stupid"
-
Grover, the National Socialists (Nazis) were actual socialists like the Republican Guard are actual Republicans. Stop with the BS, you should know better.

You'd think the president of Americans for tax reform would understand this. I'm betting he does, and is betting 30% of Americans do not.
-
48% of Americans don’t understand it:https://mobile.twitter.com/adamjohnsonnyc/status/1081452114549919744?s=21 …

The word for a 70% top tax rate in 2019 is no one is sure. But in the 1950s, a 90% top tax rate equaled one of the best periods in American history when it comes to the growth in wealth per US household. The US could not have built the suburbs without this tax revenue.

You certainly understand it’s not 70% of anyone’s entire income. You know it’s income over $10 million. So you are trying to mislead people.
-
It's what he does... his shtick so to speak.
-
It’s the Republican way.

Don't we know it

As you know, from 1936 to 1980 the top marginal rate was 70% and above. E.g. between 1952 and 1963 (which included the Eisenhower presidency) the top marginal rate was above 90%. America had high economic growth and shared prosperity. We created national highways system etc.pic.twitter.com/PTLdue5IYI

Thank you for standing up for the real slaves. People that have very high incomes
-
I can’t understand how so many people don’t know what marginal tax rates are
-
They do, they just know it benefits them to lie about it.
-
Yeah, probably. Seems pretty coordinated the way the conservatives are responding to this.
-
Yup. It's a lot harder to correct a lie once it's out there. They play to their base's ignorance and then the damage is done.
-
A lot of middle class folks do not even realize that they pay a higher effective income tax rate than Billionaires do.
