A lot of industrial and metal shows have happened there over the years and I hope the bands in those scenes hear about this and refuse to step foot in the venue from now on

I remember that post. One of the bands had a logo (I think a T-shirt) with a graphic of a Hasidic Jewish man with a broken nose, bleeding. It was awful. Rather surprised that Dingbatz let the show go on.

I went to Dingbatz once and never went back. Didn’t like the vibe. It felt cliquey, like I’d be ignored if I tried to engage someone in conversation since I was there by myself.

This gets worse. A local Rocky Horror shadowcast agreed to perform that night, ONLY after being told those bands weren’t performing. When they showed up to set up, these two bands harassed the cast and assaulted one of the cast members. Dingbatz did nothing.

the Cro-Mags are listed to play there this Friday. I’d hope John Joseph maybe holds out for a better, less Nazi-apologist venue though
