    Day 10: Breakfast: Same Lunch: Had left-over chili from day 9. Dev had it over wholegrain pasta (as a thick sauce), and I had it as is, with some spelt bread on the side. Dinner: Ate out!

    Day 9: Breakfast: We so boring in in the morning :D. Lunch: Had chickpea salad sandwiches again, due to left-overs from day 8. Dinner: Lentil chili with winter veggies!

    Day 7: Breakfast: Oatmeal for rek, cereal for Dev. Lunch: Left-over lasagna, with hearts of palm salad and steamed brussell sprouts. Dinner: Végé pâté over slices of spelt bread, with some veg and pickles on the side. Dessert of dried fruit.

    The reason it was, is because metrication in Canada is still very recent (it began in 1970). Lots of ppl resisted the transition, and the proximity to the US and historic ties with the UK made it even more difficult to move away.

    I have converted GrimGrains recipe measurements to Metric. For those who still use Imperial, don't worry. The ingredient listings displays Metric, but the recipe instructions list both.

    Day 3 Breakfast - same old, same old. Lunch- Wholegrain wheat linguine with roasted beet sauce, with apples for dessert. Dinner- Spicy stir-fry chickpeas, with buckwheat spelt crackers, with squares of sea salt chocolate for dessert.
