Well done to journalists turning up at No.10 for press briefing by Civil Servants-to be split into 2 groups; one invited into briefing, the other group asked to leave! They ALL decided to leave. Unity in the face of divisiveness+avoidance of scrutiny🧐

The 1688 "glorious revolution" was contested for another sixty years in Great Britain, effectively ending only with an actual battle in 1746, and it is still contested to this day in the island of Ireland

Boris Johnson - speaking literal gibberish in between staring at the ceiling. It's like watching a penguin on acid trying to catch invisible fish in its mouth.

Fishing contributes 0.1% of our GDP The automotive sector contributes 4% of GDP and 12% of total UK exports (2017 stats) - mainly to the It relies on just in time supply chains. You don’t think the Govt has the wrong priorities?

Useful facts for the Brexiter in your life. We are in transition so the full impact has not been felt yet. Australia doesn’t have a trade deal with the EU. The Nissan story has been denied by NISSAN. Their supply chain is in EU so any tariffs make it unworkable.

If you thought that after Brexit, James O'Brien wouldn't get callers whose claims don't stand up to scrutiny, then you have no need to worry. |

Boris Johnson’s Brexit speech summarised: ▪️Ruffle hair ▪️Bloviation ▪️Bluster ▪️Crack a few lame jokes ▪️Throw in arcane words that are no longer in common use to pepper things up. ▪️Audience laps it up.

A lot of talk about how the UK could aim for an Australia-style free trade deal. Grab a map. Take a look at how many potential trading partners are 30 miles from Australia, as we are from the EU. Then try again giving yourself a 1,000-mile radius. Still nothing? Then shut up.

The author of Article 50 has said that no other country would be"stupid" enough to leave the EU after Brexit. Lord Kerr of Kinlochard predicted that the UK would one day rejoin. "My children will certainly see us back in again," he added.

Straight line maybe Theo, but lamb doesn’t get delivered in a straight line. It gets delivered in big ships, frozen.

Dominic Cummings. You mean ‘Dominic Cummings’. Just say it. Just say: ‘Dominic Cummings has used a terrorist attack as part of his ongoing culture war, this time against legal experts’. There. That’s what you mean. Just say that.

Here’s Professor Dougan explaining to MPs - a week *after* the referendum result - the benefits of the Single Market and how no other type of trade deal comes even close. The fact that MPs weren’t aware of the consequences of leaving SM speaks volumes.
