Obviously I still use Steam for our games and I find their reps to be helpful, and they've made good improvements to the platform etc. Though in terms of bottom like $ value, it's worse for us and many than it used to be.

What this means is taking a harder look at what type of games we make, how we make them, how we market them, and what other platforms we put them on.

I should add, we just had a good week as part of the Digital Table Top fest, which was GREAT to be included in. Super-appreciate that. But it made remember what a difference just any kind of decent discovery makes to sales + wishlists.

Does anyone know who the winners were in this. The change decimated a lot of well known indie income, but it must have been offset fir someone else otherwise Valve would have rolled it back for their own interests.

Well AAA and indie games already doing great (some of them posted data around the time). One would guess the net revenue went up (or at least stayed the same and there was no reason to revert the algo)
