    The extreme heatwave continues... But equally worrying is the fact that our societies fail to grasp the full meaning of this. The longer the climate crisis is being ignored or downplayed - the longer people will remain unaware. And the political inaction is allowed to continue.

    Good news! Many of those who dropped litter had bought litter offsets that will, with luck, stop others littering in future. And some said they are confident Negative Litter Technologies (NLTs) will clear up lots of litter in a few decades's time.😉

    More that 70% of all mining that happened in Brazil between Jan-April 2020 took place in protected areas, including Indigenous Lands. The Brazilian gvmt must act to protect Indigenous Peoples, who were already threatened by invaders even before the pandemic.
