    Today is the last official day of my grant UnDEAD, which through the has supported more than a dozen PhDs and postdocs and continues to facilitate exciting insights into the origins and evolution of dogs, pigs, chickens, and many other species. Joy!

    So, about that Belyaev Fox Farm experiment. Brilliant stuff. I've opened every domestication talk I've ever given with it. Phenomenal insights into development, domestication, pleiotropy, and what a fantastic experimental design. I just wonder if maybe it's been overstated a bit.

    Such a brilliant collaboration this has been. Huge congrats to the entire team. Turns out that when you move, you take your dog with you. And in this case, your dog was your mode of conveyance. Such fun!
