    Let me say this more clearly: There’s every reason to think RBG did NOT cast a vote from her hospital bed. (The report to the contrary has been pulled back.)

    Clarification: Pete Williams misspoke. Did not mean to suggest she literally voted from her hospital bed. Only that she voted before the surgery, knowing what was coming for her.

    Not clear why it would have been necessary for Ginsburg to cast a hospital-bed vote. Last brief in asylum case was filed Wed morning (w/ DOJ adding a midday Thurs letter). Plenty of time for her to have voted before checking into hospital.
