Did you publish at a time when she’s not typically watching YouTube? I know they try to optimize for many factors, not just “does this person watch every video from this channel” so if you launched your video overnight in her time zone they would typically hold that notification

Most of my videos are released around midnight CEST. Many viewers of mine watch around that time, so I'm not sure it's "late enough" for them to hold back notifications... but even if they were, I completely disagree with the logic. I want people to receive notifs immediately.

My Dad (Steve's) has just a single subscription and it's us. This happens to him on a fairly regular basis. Very annoying!

I don't even understand this whole wanting notifications thing. I was so glad when they made that bell so I could stop getting notifications of videos I already watched.
