Minister, why have you not yet funded CGM for people over the age of 21? If you want to make a real difference in the lives of Type 1 Diabetics, this is a pretty easy way to do it.

People will continue to smoke. Friends of mine tried vaping as a way to wean themselves off cigarettes & failed miserably. It is a slightly healthier alternative though.

How about looking after Diabetes educators that do valuable work in primary and secondary prevention. Our mbs item numbers have been ‘frozen’ since 2012. I can’t afford to stay in private practice. That’s 40+ patients a week who miss out now

I am fully booked until June and I can’t find a replacement to do the work I am doing. So many educators are leaving private practice. It’s too hard to survive. There are so many studies proving the value in prevention to lower health care expenditure.
