I don’t get the strategy to open up when we are at 70% vac. This number does not include kids under the age of 16 which is about 20% so if fact the strategy is to open freely when only 50% of the nation is vaccinated. Agree we need to live with it but 900+ cases dangerous

It includes high vaccination rate of those most likely to end up in hospital. Daily cases won’t be the measure, it will be hospital cases which hopefully will be kept manageable.
