Surely if there is hesitancy from the 50+ group around the AstraZeneca vaccine, why not prioritise our most vulnerable group with Pfizer? I’m sure the take up would skyrocket and younger (less vulnerable) can wait until later in the year.

Unless there is criteria that can eliminate those who can develop into blood clotting, you should not encourage people taking AZ vax. AZ vzx is not as good as Pfizer one, why don't let elderlies having good vax?

I'm with you, Clay. I'm 54 & I've seen the stats. Why risk my life for something that will only give false security bc it's not effective against all strains? We've been let down by this appalling lack of government. They don't care. Lucky I like my alone time, I can wait.

When are the over 50s able to get an mRNA vaccine? AZ's lack of efficacy means I'll still need to self isolate because of different strains so why bother? And why haven't you vaccinated 1a people yet? What are you paying consultants $millions for? You've failed Australia. again.
