You really want to help mental health? Uncap number of sessions available. Adequately fund them. Open the rebate up to different types of mental health service providers. Fund & improve education of practitioners. Make out of pocket costs tax deductible again. THIS would help.

A welcome initiative but do nine sites of HeadtoHelp in Melb.know they r opening this program tomorrow ? I have looked at all websites of services, esp ones with acronymns, & not one has any announcement of launch of H2H program. Think they need PR help.

So why spend money opening new clinics when you already have thousands of GPs out there who are already experts in mental health? Try funding mental health in GP to an appropriate level so GPs can do what we are good at without running at a loss.
