Hunt announces money for 40 health research projects. He uses the language of “practical” approaches to describe these projects. As we did 10 years ago. And have many times before. What’s missing? Structural reform. You won’t close the gap this way. How many more decades?

Remember you are the Health minister not the Not-Get-Sick minister and that is a little different. To be a healthy adult and thriving community, agency and the dignity of risk are very important. Where are the acceptable risks besides in the free mind of an active healthy person?

We,as a country and I as a taxpaying Australian spend so much money on indigenous issues. I get so annoyed at hearing the same old stories of how badly they are treated etc. They are getting the benefits of "white priviledge" just like all the other minorities.

Would question the sudden 'timing' of all the recent programmes being rolled out to assist indigenous health. Why didn't Libs do anything in the past 7 years and now seem so concerned following the protests. Very transparent.
